loving student exchange!
Wow, it's incredible how quickly time flies! I feel like it was yesterday when all our students were applying and getting ready to go on their exchange programs. We've said goodbye to our 2008-09 group of students... they all left Canada almost a month ago. Now, we have host families for our inbound exchange students (91 students arriving in western Canada in only ONE month!!). Thanks for letting me know! I'm really pumped now about learning who I'll be staying with and where. As for the Government exams, I was supposed to take them, but since I took the classes with those exams last year--grade 9, taking grade 10 level classes--I was exempt from the exams because of my grade at the time, and don't have to take them- I could double-check with the school system and such, but I don't think the Sask. Party will be too disappointed that Shinae didn't write her English and French assessment exams.

I'm getting super excited about going, you're right. It's only magnified because of my cousin Hannah, who just left for France a few weeks ago. I still haven't heard from her, but I'm willing to bet she's having a great time.
Do you know when I'll be getting placement information in regards to my host family and such? Or even details as to when I'll be leaving?
