Karly's Perspective- Arriving

I was in the middle of the plane this time and couldn't see much, but as we were landing, I could see the ocean and mountains. It was beautiful.

The colours here are awesome. Everything is so green and the flowers explode with colour.

Got in around 6:20 a.m. It's really hot with a nice cool breeze. All the windows are open in the house and I can feel the breeze on me as I type.

Dale and Garry are really nice.

I unpacked today. Garry has been at the college (my new school) working all day. I helped mom Dale put everything in her class back together as it was just renovated.

Billy the horse does not stay on the property in the summer. He's down the road a bit where there are more horses to keep him company.

Sarah, the daughter, is gone on a trip until Monday.

There is a package here from my Mom for my birthday and a card from Lexi. Can't wait to open them!!!

Alexis made me a hoodie with my name on it and hid it in my suitcase. What a great surprise.

I want to venture out, but I don't know if I'm allowed so I'll just chill.

They tell me there are some really sketchy kids around here. Lots have gotten kicked out of school. But no BIG deal, apparently. Hmmm...

The language is really hard to understand. Dale is like, "I'm gooooew to make me beeiid" I'm like, what's that?

She thought for a minute we didn't make our beds in Canada.

What a goof I am.

Were heading into town for groceries and to open a bank account.

I'm really tired.
